Looks like a 131 sport to me,which would mean a two door.Last taxed in 2001 according to doovla and not sorned .

Although I didn't take a really close look I thought the 131 was a two door Supersport but that was just down to the grille.

 

Anyway, as it's nearly the end of the year and it gets dark so early I don't have much chance of getting many more spots, here is my last batch for 2011. Slightly disappointing quantity-wise, SORRY.

 

This looks like a Vitesse, but it's running a 1300 engine. I'm pretty sure it's not just a Herald with the wrong bonnet though.

This has moved in to my street recently, parked almost outside my house makes a nice distraction when I'm on my way to the takeaway and whatnot. I should point out that my house is much nicer than the ones in the background there, that picture makes it look like some grim council estate.

Wow. Some fucking cool stuff there. Not sure what I like best but the tinworm special Escort van is incredible (I'd expect to be seeing rot like that on a 70's Fiat or Lancia) and the PB Cresta that appears to be collapsing in on itself is also an awesome spot.

 

I'd love to know how many owners that Datsun 120Y has had. I'm just imagining some little old lady having had that from new, what with the lovely original appearance and local 'CD' Brighton plates.

I do try and avoid getting any modern detritus in shot for exactly that reason, though it's much harder than you might imagine these days and obviously some shots turn out better than others. I should go and have another crack at that caravan one at some point actually, looks like it'll be there for a while yet.

 

E-Type is a fairly recent import from the US, it's only appeared there in the last few months so I assume it is heading for a resto at some point in the near future. Rover looked completely sound apart from the bonnet but it's been sitting there unmoved for ages. A real bloody shame as it's the only early Sd1 I've seen in many a year.
