Ebay Tat Volume 2 - Sadly deceased.

Seems like a genuine seller too

Really? I'm not sure how far I'd trust him - he says the vehicle has had 1,000 good owners, but it appears to have been made by Audi, so at least 500 of those "good" owners will in fact have been utter c*nts.

All my Chevettes were much older, I never realised how plush the late ones were! But yeah, he is an absolute bellend. Can't drive either, apparently!

Someone buy it quick and put it back to its original form - before the interior gets messed with!

SPACTRONIC Shoveit. These are actually quite pleasant (n a shite kind of way) to drive.

C U L8R, I'm just off to eat that Cornish Pasty I bought in 1986. I know it'll be ok because it's never been out of the packet.

Seeing that it's not been taxed since 1992 i suspect it's nothing like that now, I bet the blokes phone has been ringing of the hook though, I wonder what money he's after for it?.

In other news this has been bought up on RR, a so called "Barn find" of a mint, shiny Mk1 Escort with some random straw thrown about and the sellers feedback shows he bought a 2 Dr Mk1 Escort last April as well as the spotlights in September, what a cock.

I am in utter disbelief that the seller thinks that people will believe that this is a genuine 'barn find'.

And then write 'HHUIURRR IT IS AN GENUIN BARN FIND AZ U WIL C IN DA PITCHERS!!!'

I could list the reasons as to why it's so unconvincing, but even in my semi drunken state I feel they are obvious to anyone with half a brain.

This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available

Now, there's a surprise...

I am sure it was a genuine barn find in the sense that he found it in his barn after his mates had dropped it off the night before.

However by covering it in hay he has nearly pulled it off. Its the same as the time that I antiqued my mate who had passed out drunk and we nearly convinced Brian Sewell that he was Michelangelo's David.

Derbyshire Police mustn't have liked what they saw...

What a fucknut. Even if by some remote chance the car's not nicked, he's never going to sell it now (well maybe in parts). Did I read on some forum or other that a kosher one of these is worth 20 grand???

listing was pulled about 3am, i doubt the police where out to view at that time of the morning

Well fuck knows then. Maybe he got "A Christmas Carol"-type visit from the Ghost Of Shite Past, and his conscience got the better of him?

£300 MINIMUM TRADE IN

This is surely an open invitation to every nut job on ebay.

Dear God, that's well lush. I need* some more old Septic shite in my life and that looks suitably awful enough to grace CavCraft. Skint at the moment though so will just have to pretend I didn't see it.

There was initially a bid at the start price, which seemed to disappear / was withdrawn?

Then just one bid on the last day of auction - Seemed quite cheap for a late Mk3 with 7 months test?

If you click on the (one) bid then scroll down you'll see someone retracted their bid stating 'entered wrong bid amount'.

Conclusion: I actually quite like these and I bet it goes okay with a 2.0 in it too. Okay there's a big hole in the rear window but nothing a bin bag and a bit of gaffa tape won't sort right?
