This Renault 9 is back on, £500 start price, however he has been offered £450 by a banger racer for it so it is likely to be raced, which he seems quite pleased about :( . I think £500 is a bit steep especially as it has a problem where the engine only runs for a little while! It seems a shame as it is one owner, low mileage and looks clean!

A: well there going to be upset then as ive had a bid from banger mat of 450.00 he says if any one can better that be for the sale ends then thay will have it if not it will get re lised as a box of scrap . ha ha ha ha !!!!! to the crusher !!!

A: hi yes it is . no not relly bit under bonit on inner wing nothing bad . and it had a new batery new back box and light bullbs , and had to free off the back brakes but nothing serious. thank you .

Q: Hi I hadn't added the R9 to my watchlist, but bearing in mind the car doesn't currently go properly, I'm bemused by the listing - no reserve - with a reserve of £500 is confusing!! A: hi 1st the 500.00 is not a reserve it is a start price, it is on sale from the first bit there after . and if the car is not sold very soon i will crush the dam thing its in my way and i hate it with a pashion , im a ford man and i only took pitty on it as it has lasted so long . i wish i had just left it where it was but still.... any way no it will run but not for long and then stops , if i can cover my cost of the parts mot and price of the car then fine if not then off to banger mat it will go to rag round the track then dead !!! if you want it come save it 650 cash take it a way!!

The Renner 9 guy seems a grade A twat. Has he not grasped the concept of eBay tools (no pun intended!) ie the facility to watch an item you might be interested in so you can find it again easily????

 

Anyway he's obviously trying the ransom angle so bollox to him.

Q] If you really have had an offer of £450 from a banger racer why haven't you let him take it? Why get so stressed about people watching the listing, if you're that arsed about it let the racer have it? Unless of course you're trying to bluff people.

Your advert is a joke and you type like an 11 year old, you know as well as I do the banger racing bit is complete bollocks and if it doesn't get a bid (and I honestly hope it doesn't) then you'll end up weighing it in for under £200.

I've seen your dodgy adverts starting cars at £100 buy it now then changing the price, eBay must be pissing themselves at the money you're giving them relisting shit like that.

If the banger racer could read he'd notice from the listing the Renner 9 doesn't run for long, not much good for getting round a track.

That 504 is MEGA. GR9 investment if you can haggle him down a bit, as they are rather sought after in France and other parts of the continent.

 

I even have the money in the bank....Had I been certain that I'd manage to get back into work in the next 3-4 months, I would be on the first train/plane to Ecosse.

I do think the next 80s car I get will have to be a Mk2 Cav. Don't know when though, selling is more a priority for me at the mo!
