Are these cars really as dismal as I imagine them to be? Should have a Vauxhall 16v lump too shouldn't it?

Is it wrong that I want to buy this thing?

Next year I'd be well up for that Daewoo (or one like it), although silver? Ugh! One thing he says particularly disturbs me though: "No offers." If the T&T were more than a month, yeah maybe, but come on fella...

Its worth £250 scrap, innit mate.

Late arrival on the Kappa.

Surley it's a 164 (i.e. 9000/605) platform, with Alfa Mechs. Whats to go wrong.....:roll:

Or just go and by yourself a car.

An actual real one that exists and everything.

I plan too!, It just seems every joker at the moment thinks their rusty bag of shite it's worth twice (if not more) then it's real value.

Nothing to do with the 605.

I think the Kappa is based on the platform that went on to underpin the 166. Not Type 4.

Never even heard of these but I want one...

...the vendor is quite clearly a WINNAH as he seems to have a Nova too.

That Manta is overflowing with WIN. Why do such good things only appear when I have no time, space, money. PLEASE BUY ALL MY SHITE!!!!11!!

I bet the body flops about on bumpy roads like a brain-damaged sea lion, specially if there is any hint of the famed manta A-pillar rot

Got to respect the “ah, fuggit†semi-wash on this ST24. If the 42k mileage is genuine, it’s been accumulated hare-coursing in that field. Short test, typical fugged bumper, £490.

Kia Clarus 1.8 auto, decent test, 108k, £495. I AM THE LORD OF THE SHITE, SAID HE.

So clean! So white! This wouldn’t look out of place between the bog and bidet in Angela Merkel’s en suite. Full ticket, £490.

Reminds me of when I had a Mini back when it was the done thing to put Halfords 16v badges on everything because it made everyone think you had a Ferrari, I stuck one on the Mini and had a sticker made up that said "16v - 8 in the engine 4 on the tyres and the rest in the radio" - probably went right over the baseball capped heads of the average boy racer but I thought it was bloody hilarious :roll:

Sorry to digress - back on topic...

That Ford Lazer looks too uncomfortably like a Chrysler Neon for my liking.

How to sell your car, lesson one: Find somewhere nice to photograph it*, perhaps a nice river in the background, or some wild life and shit. Don't have any distractions such as bewildered/half arsed/furtive looking people loitering nearby. Failing that shove it outside your Widnes council house and hope for the best.

Back atcha, Trigger. Let’s take another trip to Toilet Trader, on the hunt for the most miserly motoring experience imaginable: SUB-MONKEY DIESEL MINGE-OFF. Woah!

media?id=1858090988

298K! Actually this 1.8TD Ghia looks pretty fuggin GR9.3 considering, and at £295 may be the only T&T’d vehicle in the land whose purchase price and mileage in thousands falls close to the famed* 1:1 “golden ratioâ€Â. Not much of an MOT, though – just enough to haul it over the 300k line and weigh it in for Christmas.

Nothing says LOW-RENT TIGHT-ARSE more eloquently than this £350 Rover 218TD, which returns an authenticated 897mpg and instantly reduces all passengers to appalled silence. WIN.

I want to buy all my cars from this dealer now. ‘Hey kids, fancy another trip to PART EXCHANGE CARS LIQUIDATION?’ This £390 TD Punto van looks like an unbeatably cheap way of spreading confusion and anger amongst your neighbours.
