Seconded. South Cheshire should prepare for an imminent grud explosion.

Is this not a bit fishy - why would a 53 reg become a Q plate if it was just modified - they know the manufacture date of the base vehicle surely?

Looks like something has been lashed onto the back of the original MPV (albeit in somewhat rough fashion looking at the interior)....

Yeah he does!

Thats just been round the bay once, resreve is (or was) £2400 - seems not unreasonable, but if i'm gonna spend that sort of coin i think i'm gonna wait till one comes along in a better colour!!! Gold looks most unappealing.

I didn't bother posting this first time I saw it as, at £250 BIN with 4 months ticket, I thought it would be gone before I'd fininshed posting.

However it didn't sell and didn't hit it's reserve, so here it is again. I thought that this would sell in seconds. I'm no fan of Almeras generally speaking but decent, reliable, if somewhat dull transport at £250 for someone I'd have thought?

That Vel Satis reg' number seems familiar, I'm sure it's been on here recently.

And as for that hideous kia lash up! emot-jerkit.gif

Most UK Vel Satis' seem to have HT or HY prefix registrations. I think it was something to do with them being registered at a central distributor, rather than a dealer.

It is an American Cavalier/Ascona, there was some discussion a while back on mk2cav.com about whether the aircon from these could be made to fit a Cavalier.

...it must be noted that EVERY part on this car is in VERY VERY poor condition.

Price reflects the value of the significant parts individually.

Make your mind up!

I remember this episode! Hector got fed up with Kiki endlessly nosing over the garden wall so he pushed her off the ladder, she fell in the undergrowth, and got a right grump on.

She never did find her hat.

RHD, 11 Months MOT and only £750 BIN, Funnily it has a Mk2 Cavalier engine! and the dash looks Vauxhall Astra'ish?.

I'd suspect the the dash from an Astra has been used to perform the conversion to RHD.

I've seen some LHD to RHD conversions overseas - very heath robinson affairs - especially, when you look at them underneath the transplanted dashboards - not for the faint hearted!

Yeah thats defo a Mk2 Astra dash!! I'd love to have a close look at that.

^ WHAT A NUMPTY! How much of a pillock would you look driving that heap. Especially as you could get a real TT for that sort of money now.

Congratulations! I have to say you sprung to mind when I saw it too!

I have timed it 0 to 60 allways around 7 seconds, on a run at 70mph it will do around 47mpg and on a private road i have had over 140mph, it has a very flat torque curve so the power is allways there and the throttle response is crisp. This was one of the last factory tuned SRi's - remapped ecu, high compression, high lift cams etc. - before EU emmissions legislation killed them off (although i have the last emmissions report from MOT showing CO at 0.97% when limit is 3.5% and HC at 94 when limit is 1200!).

Spectacular horseshit levels there, but £600 BIN doesnt seem absurd for a decent one of those, theyre pretty ace in 130bhp format.
