Spottedlaurel Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 I saw that Cherry Turbo back in South London somewhere in 2000, think it was up for sale at £1295 then. Edit: Just seen that Camry sneak onto the list - probably just as well I have no spare cash for that one! Going to have to put myself in a position where I can take advantage of one like that coming up for sale though.
Negative Creep Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 Have a bid! you never know! Not in a position to buy one right now sadly (unless it goes for under £50 that is)

garycox Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 There was a wierd old guy with a squeaky voice (and a beard) who worked at my school when I was there about 10 years ago, who always turn up in a manky Rialto (I think he had at least 3 of them). He was always the source/victim of much amusement.

retrogeezer Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 I always thought it must have cost far more in tooling to make that different rear bumper set up than to just stick the same placcy one on like all other models had.....why on earth did they do it?

Rod/b Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 This looks well fit: Although it's a bit harsh photographing it ON THE BLOODY SCALES.
Fat_Pirate Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 I had a pov spec Metro 1.1C as above brand new in 91; between me ordering it and the thing arriving, the spec was dropped even further and it arrived with THAT rear bumper. When I complained, they countered that the rear shelf was now standard! Top work, Rover.

mattblack Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 Spares or Repair £1,795.00 Great Condition For Age Needs Welding & Steering Rack For MOT
Rod/b Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 Anybody would be mental NOT to buy this at £375 with ticket until next May. If I was in the UK, i'd be posting "look what I've just bought" I absolutely loved the one I had that ended up with Scruff, and this looks in MUCH better condition. The front seats appear to have NO WEAR WHATSOEVER and they ALL wear out on the bolsters. Don't worry bout the mileage. I'd bosh a new cambelt on it, change the oil and just drive it. Cor.
Guest Len H Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 That's lovely that is. Can't believe no one's hit the BIN but there have been 8 offers!
trigger Posted June 20, 2011 Author Posted June 20, 2011 That Audi is very nice, That mileage does put me off a bit and it's bloody miles away from me but i still like it though.

Rocket88 Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 Spares or Repair £1,795.00 Great Condition For Age Needs Welding & Steering Rack For MOT Should be in the "bargains" thread at that money
