I quite like those ghia injection orions, would have given my right arm for one when I was 18. Amazed to see that one hasnt disintegrated given it's an E reg, which was around the time Ford decided not to use metal but instead to build cars out of sausages.

dont want to start a thread for this, but does anyone here want my mates Morris Minor? I dont know much about it tbh but here it is

Posted Image

he says:

"i'd like it to go to someone i know if i'm honest, but may go the gumtree route if i have to.

i paid £600 and would only want the same. the MOT has just expired but it's taxed until September (which is free obviously). It does need work, but the engine is sweet and start first time and sounds very happy. it's all running fine but needs a new front wing and back doors. you could drive it as it is, but it would be best to get it all done to a good standard."

I reckon thats pretty cheap assuming ti wont need loads for the test... if I had my fuggin license i'd be on it like a shot (waiting for the doovla to post my new provisional, wheels slowly starting to turn on this....)

Does seem a bit pricey with no MOT.....where is it located?

Check out this rag top Allegro, It's already got a £2000 starting bid with no mot!

Maybe got a mate to bid on it!

I thought £600 for a Minor was pretty good.... it is a bit cheeky askin the same price he paid but it doesn't need anything for the MOT ASFIK - and the money is going to a good cause!Car is in Brighton...if there's some interest I might be able to persuade him to test it...

I have lots of interest in the Minor, but no cash until May

Nice, but....

Someone crashed into the back of it at the end of january

Passenger side rear light is gone, rear wing and rear panel dented. The third party's insurer didn't give me enough to repair it....

So you pocketed the cash then...

I do not wish to be advised/lectured/explained to how much my car is worth,therefore-no bids from people from Batley please.

Strada defo is/wasThe sellers name of 'teresab' could that be Mrs Bickle?

the Datsun"thing" is lush.... 8)

The Datsun definitely is, the Strada and Renault 17 have his kind of numberplates on and the whole range is completely the sort of cars he goes for!

Posted

why do they say ' Bailiffs Auction' and repossessed (well, repossed!!) etc then??

Posted

A quick search on this forum revealed his photobucket account and they are all indeed is/was his. Wonder what the story is?. Maybe Mrs B's got the hump?.

Posted

I can see why the Datsun has two bids - nice!

He's in breach of a substantive Court order- & there is no bloodydebt.I've got a new barn,& want them out. He's acting up. Dont dvocate trying- they'll be off before auction end -or hes'going to clink. You wont get title-I'll just reclaim them off you-(at your expense).

Posted

Ah that explains it, I thought it might be something to do with the storage. That's my nightmare too.

Posted

I'm a bit confused (Not hard), Who's selling them then?, I take it that they are your cars stored in someone else's barn, and that someone else is selling them to claim storage debts?, Or am i totally wrong?.

That doesn't make a word of sence to me

Think it means that the person selling (who owns the storage) doesn't have the right to, by court order. Nigel Has found a new barn, and is moving the vehicles out, and the storage chap has the hump about it.The last bit is if you buy them you wont get them, as Nigel has the title to the vehicles, V5 paperwork etc, and will persue to get the vehicles back.I think.. :?:

That's how I read it. Not good. Hope he gets it sorted.

Posted

Ooh okay.Thank you for the translation / making it clear :)Hope he get's them back !Shame non of us "shitters" could bid on the them, then some how without force, remove and store them some place.Maybe easier if we had the V5 to hand and waft proof it is (pretendly) ours.AUTOSHITE MISSION !

That is shit, Hope you get it sorted as well, Maybe contact the police although after readings Freds post yesterday makes me wonder if it's worth it.
