There's a 'jack' setting on the suspension lever inside the car that pumps the body up high enough to let you change the wheel.

HEY YOU! WHATS THAT SOUND

I don't care that that Fiat 130 has sufficient holes to make a serviceable sieve, I still want the fuck out of it.

I don't, however, WISH I WAS A LITTLE BIT TALLER. I'm 6'5", which is plenty.

Pre-prod. Rover worth buying for the ROFLs I bet.

There is stacks of receipts etc for when this car was owned by [a] Colonel, in fact he had many gearbox problems when he bought it, and there is lots of correspondance with the then Transport minister, bemoaning the fact that a British car was so poorly made. These letters have to be seen to be believed.

Does that continue to work past the 3rd week of new buyer ownership?

Sigh. Nowt like perpetuating myths based on absolutely zero experience is there? I've driven lots of miles in hydraulic Citroens and the suspension is the most reliable aspect! (need I remind you that the one thing that didn't go wrong on my CX was the hydraulics?).

That Reliant Rebel van is super, with a side helping of Bollox Rofls.

GR8 4 BEIN ME, 1.4 with a 4 spd box sounds strange, i'd expected it to be a 5 speeder in that.

Yours having the 5-speed was what made me quite fancy it for myself. Does seem a bit stingey of Ford not to offer the extra cog in more cars though, even my 1982 Starlet had a 5-speed 'box.

Anyway, it looked familiar and turned out to be a previous spot:

It was in Halesworth then. The driveway really was that steep, I can imagine amusing levels of clutch-slip being used to reverse it onto the road.

HOLY COW that Talbot is well FIT.

I would be pleased to rattle about in that.

Aha, do I detect another Elmore Leonard reader? :D

this vehicle has been 'improved' by someone of below-average intellect.

Covering half the grill with the numberplate looks so much better.Original "improver" obviously sold it because it had a habit of overheating

I am pretty sure we never go the GTS in the UK. Doesn't look too bad value.

Maybe this should be in the bargains thread. He has been trying to sell it for over a year at the price, I would have thought he would have got the message by now! :?

My old 323 Turbo's back on - all the way up in Edinburgh this time. Still hasn't had fuck all done to it, and he wants stupid money for it too.

Bit of luck he left the spacesaver on the n/s front when he took the pics. Came dangerously close to looking like he could be arsed.
