This is just down the road from me, may well have a bid onit if no one else does, can't be a bad car can it?

Deffo! I've been admiring that every time it's been listed. Chap seems to get messed around by buyers - but I think his idea of the value might have started out a bit optimistic (I think it was around £1300 in CCW at one time??).

If it stays near the start price it'll be a great buy (I reckon).

Careful you don't drip any oil on his drive though - he doesn't like that.

Yeah, his feedback makes interesting reading does it not?

He advertised the car in the local paper a couple of weeks ago at £895 ono and I started feeling a bit tingly then,

If you're lucky - I was thinking it must have taken him ages to flat off all the gaffer tape.

I've two of these in the past and they're a real hoot to drive as long as you thrash it without mercy. Watch for rust in the body and the trailing arms

The interior's a bit savoury on this one, but I wouldn't kick it out of bed

This looks like a giggle, didn't Hirst post a video of something like this on a rally track?

4 grand seems a lot, but if you want one you're probably not filled with choice?

GR8 4 CHASIN 101 DALMASHUNS

I remember these are based on the Vauxhall 2300 - the engine, front suspension at least, and probably gearbox and rear axle.

I can't imagine old Bob Jankel was too concerned with rustproofing at the time so I bet this could drain a whole load of cash, leaving you with something unloved at the end.

I want one 8)

Iranian Hillman Hunter! A billion Autoshite points (cash value 0.00001p)

Didn't they used to make Hunters in Ryton before they made Peugeot 309s?

The build quality is dire with paint peeling and interior plastics made out of bin liner material.

I can't type the numberplate into WeBuyAnyCar.com so don't know its value :?

That Simca is less than 5 miles from me, so if anyone is interested, and wants me to take a look round it i'm more than happy to.

I can imagine an SVA test on that Peykan being a lot of grief :(

They're also undriveable by anyone over 5ft 8" tall.

As much as I love the Hunter range - those are truely awfull. I imagine hes discovered that himself moting it and gave up. SVA tester would have to have a sence of humour.

Are those Chrysler Alpine rear light clusters on that Pecan Pie?

He is Julian Nowill who’s a bit of a boffin on odd foreign stuff. He did a quite nice book on East European cars
