1977 Dodge Royal Monaco Brougham

YES! I would have this.

With you all the way! You did of course recognise it as the same model used in the opening credits of Hill Street Blues, when the cars emerge from the police garage onto the Chicago winter streets? One like this would be suitable for Captain Furillo....

Hey! I didn't recognise it at all, and I must've watched those credits thousands of times....

In fact, didn't Furillo drive a metallic blue one for most of the series?

Look at this hunny, Local to Mr_Bo1 i think as well.

Reason for sale- intention was to spray it black and put some nice wheels on but have made plans to spend cash on decorating hence she has to go - reluctantly as she is very rare and beautifull

Thank fuck for the decorating!

1979 Triumph Dolomite 1300

This is proper autoshite spec, Gaffer tape over the rust, Holes in the wings etc, It's £295 or offers and needs a couple of very minor things for the mot though.

Because they have given the mot test number you can check on it's mot history, It's passed most years with no advisorys, It's only 180 miles in the last year!

Don't know if this link works or not to show you?. http://motinfo.direct.gov.uk/internet/s ... Dispatcher

A Sunny is a Y, doesn't matter what the numbers are, they refer to the engine size, which might alter from market to market, or even within a range. A Violet is a J, Cherry is A, Laurel is L, Cedric is C... have I missed any? Oh yeah, a Z is... well, a Z!

Barrett, you may well be right, I do have a vague memory of Furillo with a pale blue metallic sedan. Couldn't swear it was the Dodge, but it's highly likely. Many of the patrol cars used in the series were the Dodge Monaco and Plymouth Fury models that the studios were able to buy cheap from CHP, and paint up....
