flat4alfa Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 Surprised this has been posted up by the Essex contingent yet; Not exactly shite, but how cool is that!? My dad always goes on about them, weren't in service for long, if at all, after the guys testing one crashed it and killed themselves. Error. One of 2 wasn't it? One RS200 went to Herts Police and this one to Essex. That could be Ford Nutter Folklore though The shots were taken in 1986. Ford publicity recreated the shot 30 years later The car chassis #122 wearing C829FHK here was sold privately in 1987, repaired put back on the road and apparently still with that owner, in storage. A wider shot of the classic photo with another view from the shoot And the remake. Might even be the same fellas ! Laseraligningfoofooflanges, HarmonicCheeseburger and jayroller 3

flat4alfa Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 Relatively recently, over on Argentina, the Policía Federal and Gendarmería Nacional replaced their IKA Torinos and Ford Falcons... ...with Chevrolet's wonderful Sail and Corsa II with occasional Ford Focus (with the arse) input and a battering ram for added seguridad: mercrocker, somewhatfoolish, vulgalour and 3 others 6
Sigmund Fraud Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 Our local police force just bought a load of those monstrosities as pool cars... O tempora, o mores !
mk2_craig Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 That's a top quality selection of Edinburgh based police kit right there Trigger. I want to live in a world where that sort of stuff is helping to keep the STREETS SAFE. trigger and mercrocker 2
SierraMikeHotel Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Our local police force just bought a load of those monstrosities as pool cars... O tempora, o mores !Fantastic! I'd far rather have these than the Getz and i30s we have to put up with.
martc Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Our local police force just bought a load of those monstrosities as pool cars... O tempora, o mores ! I was in a queue due to an accident on the M62 somewhere near Manchester and the first responder turned up in one of these. I'm not sure I would want to depend upon an electric vehicle of fixed range and no easy means to 'fuel' up for emergency response work.
Faker Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 All proper norn iron police cars. Lacquer Peel and trigger 2
Faker Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Short brothers and Harland and Wolfe built armoured ruc landrover - called the shorland adw1977 1

Only one survives... flat4alfa and somewhatfoolish 2

sierraman Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Those ex RUC Cortinas must have seen some action. Faker 1

The owner was unpleased. https://youtube.com/watch?v=lq6XJl9xw80I could never fathom the hate the KLF got for a time..but yeah what a bunch of uncle knobheads the clothes and the fucking antics.. they'd look hardcore doing that if they weren't dressed like rupert murdoch hosting a garden party ffs. I do like the music saying that (Chill out alum with the sheep is gold IMHO)..but then again i also like the smiths and we all know what a cretin moz is these days! OT soz.
