I've had an issue similiar but I seem to have had better luck with nhs. Noticed blood in water Sunday morning. Struggling to pass a couple days before this. Wasn't worried so much but it happened again at lunchtime. Rang 111 who advised to straight to a and e. Was only in kings mill for an hour Sunday teatime. Course of meds for 7 days then further investigation.

When I was little I went for a piss once and it came out bright red! It’s quite shocking when you see that and you start fearing the worst.

It turned out it was the masses of pickled beetroot I’d been wolfing down earlier that day! I used to love the stuff.

Solved the red pee mystery but god knows what all that vinegar was doing to me.

Bloody together energy, joined in Feb told it would be £100 per month first payment was £123 and went out on wrong date, bill came saying we used £80 and account is now -£40 WTF.  emails not answered and cant get through on the phone. Just how dose all this choice make life easier?

years ago i had a kawasaki AR125 2stroke with a micron "spanny" and a job that required me to leave home at 2.30am every morning.

having a young child meant starting the ringding outside the house was a no no.

used to get it going by rolling it down the street, 2nd gear clutch out rolling start followed by full beans.

only thing was that coincided with me being right outside the mother in laws house.

no bad thing really

No beetroot here and in brutal honesty the clots have gave away the possibility of a problem also!

OK I just don't know what to say, I managed to get through after 45mins on hold, and there system is different to the rest of the world, a minus means we are in credit, if the minus wasn't there we would be in debit WTF is happening to this world????

Similar issues with my car and my neighbours. Starting a 6-cylinder diesel engine on 1.75 cylinders, with the remaining joining in slowly over the next 60-90 seconds not only makes a bit of a lumpy racket, but leaves a cloud of clag over half the estate that an XUD would be rightly proud of.

I just* need to do the glowplugs.

Certainly scares the crap out of you.

When I first did my back in I was prescribed some sort of pills to relieve the agony of my bad back. I think it was like Voltarol but on prescription only and much stronger.

After months of using it I started to get really bad stomach aches. It became a case of take the pills and suffer bad guts or don’t take the pills and be in agonising back pain.

It came to a head one day when I went to the loo and produced dark black shits! That’s a bleeding stomach then!

I stood up after ‘going’ and suddenly felt absolutely awful. My vision started blurring then became tunnel vision and I fell over forwards into the sink. Luckily I didn’t hit my head or anything. I came back around and went to hospital where they said the pills I was taking are well known to have this as a side effect. They were aggravating my stomach lining causing it to bleed which made my blood pressure drop, which was why I passed out.

Very scary when it happens.

In the last seven years of 635CSi ownership, I invested* in a custom-made stainless steel exhaust system. Now, it wasn't the startup or idling that was, er, loud - far from it; it was as subdued as the standard system - it was what happened when the car reached 1500 revs. At that point, the sound wave / resonance was so heavy that I could set off other people's car alarms just by driving past.

I think the residents in my street were quite relieved when I sold the car in 2014.

Multistorey carparks were hilarious. I once got 9 car alarms going off at the same time just by knowning the sweet spot for the resonance.

Or my Beetle with a side exit "zoom tube". The rest of the system was so holey it used to pop and bang and spit the odd flame on overrun. Could see the flashes in the rear view mirror just as people dived for cover.

We ... we don't want it. Get them to dispose of it hygienically please.

LOL could be useful if you stretched it out, extra grip on ice roads, patch for a 2CV roof.  Might get it made into purse for the wife, if she rubs it she could use it as a handbag.

I once had an EPIC bleed from the bumhole! On the way to work and chronic gut rot, dashed in and, well, details are not needed! The toilet and an area of about a square yard round it were rather RED and I paniced in a big way.

Went home and paniced some more, should have gone to the Docs but didn't and had no reccurance since and that was in 2004. However, it now seems that something in the GI is still bleeding very slightly which is why I'm aneamic!

In other news (and to quickly pass over the above!) after 2.5 years of ownership, 3 services and plenty of advice about how I need a 'delay' unit to fix my occassional 'Mineral Oil Low' warning light on acceleration, I have discovered that one of the mineral oil tanks is actually low! Not much (so the sensors must be bloody sensitive) but it did take a bit. Of course, I massively over-filled the other tank trying to read the levels so that's going to leak out over the next week and freak me out.

So annoying when you pay specialists a fortune (not kidding either!) to service your car and they leave fluids low. Not impressed with the last guy that did it (new chap has joined the firm and he serviced my car) as he left the rad cap loose (like just resting on the top loose) reduced all the pressures in the tyres to suit the completely wrong model of car (set at 28 instead of 36 front as they should be) and broke the bonnet stay - up - ability! Instead of doing a good job, he spent ages finding little faults that needed immediate attention (fan belts at £400 - they old ones are okay as I now have them as spares) and a turbo oil return pipe leak that no one else had ever noticed, nor had the car used any oil in the previous 2 years.
