To all people in IKEA Warrington:

Its a furniture shop, not an adventure playground for your kids.

Now, FOAD!!

Parents letting their kids run riot in shops in general can FRO.

On the plus side this does sometimes save me money because I wont go in a shop if I walk up to the door and see the mums net crew and all their screaming kids in there.

Angry with technology.

I have loads of stuff to do, but I am going to bed because I swear to the God I dont believe in I am seconds away from punching the computer to fuck and launching it out the window.

Its slowed down over the last few days but its pretty much at a standstill now. Virus scan is clear, Malware bytes suggests its clear, internet connection is good, but everything takes ages....opening a program, loading a web page....its all measured in minutes rather than seconds. When I restart it just sits at a black screen for 5 or 6 minutes before booting up. Task manager reckons its doing nothing in the background.....

All moped riders, car drivers and especially the taxi driver in the multipla who drove us on the wrong side of the road whilst a very large bus was heading our way. You are all fucking crazy. I will never drive in Rome or Naples cos it is too fucking scary.

I'm half neopolitan and drive round Naples, Castellammare and down to Sorrento fairly regularly and find the best tip is that if you see a gap, no matter how small, put the car in it. Never brake on the autostrada and ignore traffic lights, they are just there for advisory purposes.

The meriva very nearly had an electrical ftp earlier, just caught on a very slow starter after an hours drive. am very worried about the battery.

Whats the method to check it and the alternator? Measure the voltage with it off then turn it on and measure the voltage again and hope for 14v?

Cant afford a new one for a few weeks, will have to fit the battery from the zx to it fkr the mot if its gonna be a shit!

with the car running at a bit above idle you're looking for about 14V between the battery terminals - use a multimeter to check. less than that and you're altenator / charging is suspect.

If the cells are low on acid topping up with deionised water can help, but it is far from a dead cert.

If it's got plenty of charging and fluid it can't harm to clean the battery terminals, but it prob won't do any good either!

Lack of toilet paper in the public bogs in Llandudno.

Attendant - "People keep stealing it."

Of course they are when you are charging 20 p for somebody to have a shit.

Junction 12 M56 closed. Had to get off at Daresbury.

Headed into Warrington- Chester Road closed - diversion into Stockton Heath.

What a fucking ball-ache.

If any shitters are thinking of heading to Widnes/Warrington/Runcorn leave it until 2017.

Don't get me started on the state of public conveniences in this country, bloody inconvenient due to the lack of the bastards, bad enough for blokes but a nightmare for the ladies.

It's a national fucking disgrace is what it is and those who run our councils and government should hang their useless poxy money grubbing heads in shame.

Recently made redundant, no biggy though as I have been there a long time and its given me the the kick up the bottom to work somewhere else / do something different.

My grump is relating to the pay off.

My figure was agreed and left with HR to pass to Payroll to process. I was somewhat jittery and kept asking for reassurance it would be processed properly and in a timely manner. Yes Yes Mr SD1 dont worry were handling it, it'll be fine. The Payroll team are very good, please dont worry etc etc etc etc.....

Guess what? They fooked up and paid the wrong amount! I just KNEW it! Having worked there for 8 years and my few dealings with payroll all ending in a cock up I was expecting it to be wrong.

The remainder is on the way im told so thats ok...

But why is nothing ever done properly the first time anymore? Everything always needs a second attempt.

i had EXACTLY the same thing when i got paid off a few years ago.

as i had been with the firm for 13 years and i was considered by the high command to be a lawsuit waiting to happen ment that i did quiet well out of it.

BUT i made sure that i got everything put in writing (well actually in an email) and i hung on as long as possible.

when the time came, my final payslip was £4500 light.

I just KNEW that would happen, knowing what the firm was like with money (tighter than a ducks arse unless its a director buying a new Escalade) they ended up having to give me a company cheque for the missing money.

which i think really pissed them off.

but hey, i had it written down, and that money was to pay off my mortgage!

It's been like that for a few weeks, I think, something to do with the new bridge being built. There seems to have been roadworks at that first roundabout off the M56 (Runcorn turn off) for ever.

That section of the M56 (between Chester Services and Daresbury) must seriously be the most dangerous section of motorway in Britain at the minute, there's a crash there once or twice a week it would seem. Just before it heading East they have chevrons on the floor telling people to keep two of them apart, maybe some of the bellends see it as a challenge not to do so?

Anyhow, in rush hour that stretch is a bumper-to-bumper absolute flaming nightmare of  road.

Trying to find tax costs of a shite car (2001 Focus) and helpfully* the DVLA list 4 (four!) different versions of the 1.6 16V, two with 14" tyres, two with 15" ones. Two different tax costs for the same flipping month and year of manafacture. WTF is that about?

They are obviously using the same car identification software that Euro Car Parts have........

Sorted out new insurance. Spent 5 minutes telling me all the databases they use. 192.com etc

Now I have to send in a utility bill, my no claims plus allowed them to have a share my licence thing.

Why the fuck have all those databases if they make it more complicated?

Plus I have paid it all upfront so no credit. So much for hiding from the man!

Other slight grump is that drive other cars on new policy needs other car to be insured. :-(

Aye, amazing isn't it, the insurance companies tell us that you can't get away with bullshitting them, yet you still have to prove NCB and enter details of previous accidents 30,000 times.

Try the Dominican Republic. It's just as bad, re overtaking. Though small blessings - everyone does it wherever they can out there, so everyone expects it and accommodates for it

Bloody garages! Had a creak from the front of my car for six months, took it in as soon as I noticed it. Nothing wrong with it mate, can't hear the noise either. I can and I have hearing loss/tinnitus.

Took it in for a service elsewhere and mentioned the creak - ball joint on death's door. Not bothered that it's knackered, but bothered that the other place didn't pick it up. Could have been really nasty!

Letter today from DCC Parking Services - it's only been 4 weeks since I sent my very comprehensive appeal, detailing exactly what happened the day I got the ticket, including a statement from the shop owner to confirm the facts.

"To establish the grounds of your representation we will require you to supply a detailed timetable of events in the continuous operation of loading/unloading, totalling longer than the observation period of five minutes which was given"

I have been referred to Cardiology.

Whole process is automated, I seem to need a password that I have not been given.

The doctor has made the referral, I did not ask for one.

I have been told to contact my practice for a password.

Fair to say I will not be doing this.

I got slapped earlier this week for 64 minutes on a £1/hr parking space, Northwest Pkg - Carlisle.

The guy was just putting his camera back in his pocket as we flounced round the corner.

Why do I bitch? Nah, fair cop....

However, as he was obviously 'lying in wait' at 59mins, what if I had fired up/reversed over his foot would he slap me for 'being on the carpark and not exited by 61.75 minutes'??

It's a point of principle. I was loading. I've said over and over again that I WAS LOADING. It doesn't seem to be getting through to them or they don't care/are just jerking me around because they can. What is the point of replacing a double yellow line with a loading bay if the first time it is ever used to load goods from the shop it is right outside of I get a ticket?

The letter also doesn't mention the fact that the loading bay is marked wrongly and therefore invalid, it just wants an even more detailed breakdown of what EXACTLY I was doing in the shop for almost 8 minutes. They can FRO, I've already told them several times and my appeal letter was pretty detailed. Ombudsman time next.

Waited in for insurance hire car this morning. Didn't show up at 0900 as arranged.

Rang them and they said they'd cocked up the booking and they'd upgrade me and have it here for 1130

1200 and this appears outside:

I was hoping for a Hyundai or a Dacia or something. Anyway. I found my dark glasses and took it out for a quick spin. I know that if I can't say something nice about it I shouldn't say anything at all, so I will leave you with this: the horn is loud, and the cupholders are nice.

Jeez, I know it's passwords with everything these days but that's effing ridiculous.

Nope, what the fuck is it?

Tbh I'm guessing it's some kind of Audi but, really from the side, it could be anyone of 100's of new cars

Seems like weeks ago Hut it was only 3 that I got hit in the Frontera. As we've just got back from a trip away we thought it time to fill out all the insurance paperwork.

It's all I'm my name...

II want driving, I aren't claiming, my wife is, she's the one that rang and reported it. I know it's my policy but she's named on it and I know it's going to be a arse changing it all (bet in the end it won't matter)

You're not alone, I can't work out what it is either, some sort of Fiat?

I know we all hate moderns etc... But surely most of you know that's an Audi?

Yep, only Aldi could make a small car as butt ugly as that bastard and women especially will coo over the bloody thing like its a golden retriever puppy.

I can't work it out either.
