I have just purchased a really fun thing for £400.

It's British and goes fairly well. Has a full MOT

They drive better than I expected.

I quite fancied one of those when I was thinking of a cheap cabrio in spring. One of the best bargain 2 seater drop tops I reckon, and having just bought an old K series Freelander I completely share your apprehension.

Looks good though, looking forward to seeing more pics of it topless if the sun ever comes back out.

Just remembered .... It's an Abingdon edition whatever the heck that means and has tan dash which isn't that common.

Do want some matching tan seats and door cards for it in the future and maybe the tan hood if that's what it's supposed to have as the hood has been replaced not too far in the past.

if its survived this far, its prob never gonna have omghgf.

Great, WBOD. Has it really done as low mileage as the MOT site suggests. You can't go wrong at that money for a car with nearly a years ticket, it looks great, well bought.

Also ideal for hooning around in Tesco car park later when all the Barry boys show up!

Nice colour. I personally can't abide the driving position in these. For a sports car, they dropped the ball.

Can't complain for the money though, as long it behaves.

Indeed the mileage is that low. Currently sits at about 69k I think.

I am. But my SW20 turbo fits like a glove and is low down and laid back, how a sports car should be, IMO. I drove a VVC MG F and it felt like this. ?

I drove 17 miles to pick up chompy. Then a further 70 miles north to look at a shed of a car he thankfully didnt buy to then drive back and end up picking this up less than 2 miles from my front door. Can only happen to us. ?

If I didn't have the jaag or land rover... Wood.

2 is pushing it but 3 beautiful British cars from that special* era is over the red line.

Looks sharp, well shitted.

Indeed. It took Ford another 10 years to match what Rover did with the K-Series. Don't let a bit of polymer plastic and lack of maintenance sour a good engine.

Yes they have their issues but mine went like a scalded feline when prodded.

If it hasn't got a 52mm throttle body on it then get one.  It's fun.
