I think it's pretty well documented that Italdesign had no input whatsoever in the Ital, er, design, and that they did indeed object most strongly to the disingenuous way it was marketed. I don't think BLARG went as far as actually claiming Italdesign had designed it, but - like Loewy and the Coke bottle, again, or Charbonneaux and the R16 - they made no effort to correct the mistake after it was first reported

Skut Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 These things are supposed to be so cool they're beyond criticism. But the overhangs on them are absolutely wank. A car that has stupid overhangs because mopar were too cheap and lazy to do better.
bunglebus Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 Got to disagree there, love the big overhangs - they'd look mighty strange with a wheel at each corner. The Factory Experimental cars got stranger; stereotype, danthecapriman, Sudsprint and 1 other 4
Tamworthbay Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 I like the charger as well, one of the few good looking yank tanks.

But that gen Charger just needs them pushing a bit farther outboard to avoid it looking goofy in profile. I think 69 Dart is much better looking than the Charger because it has a more stubby nose . spike60 1

willswitchengage Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 Range Rover Velar - strange extra 'panel' at the rear beneath the outermost taillights: Insignia estate. Open at the boot and it gives birth to more lights! The curious little 'fins' glued onto the rear quarter panels of the previous generation Civic, what are they for?
