If you see it please contact me and local police.

Same signwriting on old van looked like.

Literally read that story to my boy about twenty minutes ago, hope you find it.

Me too! Likewise, good luck

Thanks chaps

It had all the props for a stage show in the back at the time so the customers are really stressed.

Police aren't being very helpful as nobody is at risk.  They obviously aren't factoring how stressed 100s of parents are going to be when a load of shows get cancelled that the kids were looking forward to.

Plod'll get suitably stressed when the inevitable pre-schooler riots start...  ;)

I imagine that could be made too hot to handle on Mumsnet

Tell them it’s Doughnuts and coffee and you can’t remember how many of each may have more effect.

If anyone can post it up there that would be ace,  the customers have managed to get it on mailonline and a weird variety of local news sites.

Bastards. Eyes peeled if it makes it down here. Might be left in a layby somewhere, minus engine.

There has been a sighting in Kettering if anyone is local. More details to follow.

It’s a bit distinctive! Hopefully it gets spotted and recovered!

Sighting in Kettering was 7am on Saturday so could now be anywhere. Plates have been changed but Dear Zoo banding was still in place. It also has a Wicked Van hire logo on the front.

Thanks

Sorry to hear of this and I know this doesn't help much but I suspect this was nicked for the body. Engines too on these are ££££'s

This is why I don't buy anything with a premium badge, if it was up to me we would just buy Peugeots and Suzukis.

Its probably lucky its not up to me though as with me in charge we would end up with a fleet of LDV Convoys and 90s PSA tat ;)

Yup, clever enough to know that the Police force has been replaced by a few ANPR cameras.

Thats brilliant but please share the BBC story rather than the info here as they will hopefully keep using the current plates.

Not really so we are starting to eye up replacements :(  Thanks for keeping a lookout chaps.

Next one will be another PSA as they are less appealing to pondlife, despite making up most of our fleet the only one that was stolen was quickly returned.  Dear Zoo will tour again but will have additional security this time in the form of old school disklocks and wheelclamps.

Something that raised a smile was how much hassle the theives would have stripping the vinyl off,  we put the Dear Zoo branding straight over the top of the Wicked Removals livery.

Sadly not the only one.One of my customers had a 67 plate sprinter stolen the same weekend. He was told 5 keyless start sprinters were stolen from the area in that week.

Keyless start is utter bollocks , my keys are in faraday pouches , the spare is wrapped in tinfoil too , 2019 and the security is crap , easier to steal that a 80s Sierra cosworth

Thanks for the thought but the back door is different, ours has a roller shutter.

Ours also has a small dent on the passenger door from the mirror folding in hard after hitting a telegraph post.

That's one advantage of rental vans, they usually have plenty of marks and scars to identify them ?

I never heard anything from it, have quite a few people from kettering on it too but no one seems to have seen it
