Shirley you mean modern* day Riley 4/72

Put some MG Hairpins on it and lets say MG Magnette.

If this is the car I saw at Festival Of Unexeptional, then it looked very smart

Why are they known as a Tomcat? They don't look much like an F14 :)

The code name the project team at Austin Rover gave to the coupe turbo project. Perhaps.

Actually make that two please

And so the roffle madness begins

Yeah but I've only got R8 experience with 1400 and 1600s and I found both gutless. Surely a 2.0 must be a different animal?

Well, yes. Almost 140 bhp, detuned from what it could do as the PG1 gearbox deemed not strong enough

Iron block though (because it's a proper old Austin engine given a rejig) so handling not as tidy. Which is why so many Turbo ones were parked in ditches, despite the torsen diff effort

If you found the K-series kettles down on torque, then this taller stroke T might be more of what you're after. Probably.

Is this like a Telethon?

@ 10 tickets left we get a stick on grille lobbed in

@ 5 we get some beige leather stiched driving gloves.

Please say it’s so.

Nonsense, it'll be a Fray Bentos I hope

I will definitely be Bentos if you buy another ticket

Drove this to work today, in the rain, 20 miles, mainly in LANE FOUR of the M1

I felt a pang of regret

The sunroof does not leak (unlike the wife's new car)

The Wipers wipe (unlike the Safrane)

Found this in the glovebox:

SOME FREE INDICATION. FOR THE NATION

So today, added to the list of boot items.

Please buy some more tickets.

I thought I had an indicator bulb out on my 214 once only to find the whole indicator lense like that had detached and disappeared. At that time there were still plenty in scrappies.

I want this car so bad, but no more money available this month :(

Yes I hoped tonight was the night, it was doing so well...

I'm in London at the beginning of May and usually fly home from Luton. If I win this it would make for an interesting race back to central Scotland against my boss.

11 tickets of desire left

Into the boot goes

A COPY OF VIZ MAGAZINE

Not the current issue. It's a surprise.

Mmm. I think one ticket is enough. I've got a BMW to win in Aberdeen as well.

I also found out my flight home is booked for Gatwick.
