And here was me thinking it was only 80s Vauxhalls that did the green paint/green seats/ green trim/green carpets thing. Reckon they missed a trick not doing the dash and console green too, that would have been quite something.

Yes this Maxi is very suspicious.

 

If you were going to re-shell a original cable changer why would you not put all the period bits back on it?

 

The only bit on this which is 1969 is the grill!

 

Sandglow didn't come out till around 1977. The seats are from a 1979/80 onwards model and the dash is also 1979 on, the steering wheel is from a series 2 1980 on model!

 

This clearly is not a 1969 model a 1979 model at the earliest I would imagine.

 

I don't think a cable changer would fetch any more than a later one, certainly not enough to justify "re-shelling one" it's a Maxi not a mini!

Yes, if you are a daft pillock with more money than braincells.

I don't know what's wrong with pplz. I bet they put something in the water.

 

For 6,100 you can sleep in a hotel that costs 61 quid a night for 100 nights.

Or buy a 3K Silver Shadow to show up with at said hotel and stay for 50 nights.
