RRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNN as fast as you can in the opposite direction from this big French slab of exotica. I sort of know the guy advertising the Alpine (I think Hertz on here knows him better than me) and he struck me as a pretty honest bloke. If you read the advert you'll note that the car isn't his, but belongs to someone who works out of the country, and he states that he can do the work for the MOT. Pillock
I got a Mk2 Astra lock set from a main dealer for about £30 all in. I too figured that since every Astra and Belmont was stolen at least five times each, they'd be all gone by now. But nope, two days later I had the little baggies in my hand - ignition, doors, bootlid and glovebox. Can't think a Cav of the same age would be too much difference. Is the dealer tax cash thing new? A year ago when I bought my car, it had no tax even though it had only been on the forecourt for three days, AND the only things they did check on my trade-in Seat was that the tax disc was in and I'd not robbed the spare wheel or headrests (?!!). Apparently when they're offering £300 for a car, "borrowed" tax discs are a bit of an issue. Mr Livered and billy_bunter

I can vouch for these cars. They are completely soulless in design, but there's charm in the way they drive and the running costs. Secondly, nobody has ever heard of them or can picture them in their heads. Not to be over looked. Junkman and saucedoctor
