My dad had a 505 gti estate auto when i was young. E plate seven seater. Lovely car and so comfy and quiet. Well equipped too. Did they have a facelift at some point? I am pretty sure his A plate 505 had a different dash and a 3 speed box and the E plate had a 4 speed box

Yes - that one is post-facelift with the horizontal reversing lights.  I could be quite tempted by that.

IF YOU DON'T INTEND TO BID, DON'T 'WATCH'. THERE IS NOTHING MORE FRUSTRATING AS A SELLER.

Up your bum, then.  If you think that's the most frustrating thing about selling an old snotter on eBay, mate, you've led a charmed life.

Ha, I have watched this just to be annoying!

Is it me  or does that GTI not look remotely sporty? More like a pauper spec with alloys and chin spoiler....

Yes, if you are a daft pillock with more money than braincells.

I don't know what's wrong with pplz. I bet they put something in the water.

For 6,100 you can sleep in a hotel that costs 61 quid a night for 100 nights.

Or buy a 3K Silver Shadow to show up with at said hotel and stay for 50 nights.

As someone who is currently setnenced to a week in the Days Inn Belfast (RRP £61 per room per night), I can't help but support this analogy

The MK5 XR3i officially the biggest let down ever, its just a MK5 escort that looks like the other 5 million made.

The MK3 and MK4 stood out, these just look like a 1.6 Ghia or LX to me

Yeah ya could do I suppose, I wouldn't though.

Yup.  Still, that could well be sorted shortly because

WAS MY DAILY RIDER TIL YESTURDAY WHEN WALLOP THE FRONT END HAS NOW GOT DAMAGE

Bad luck fella, that really puts the TURD in YESTURDAY.

Love the way the Sierra seller has continued the auction on after the WALLOP, sure his insurance company will want to see that before it goes west? lolz

IF THE PERSON WHO HAS BID WANTS TO CANCEL DUE TO THIS UPDATE THATS FINE

Highly likely I'd say.

Well, £6,100 sounds to me like I should buy the dystopian ratlook R16, drive it to the Cote D'Azur, and check into a hotel there for a month or three. If my stay there is done in the usual tradition, I can't avoid being famous afterwards.

But if you think blowing it on an old Italian camper van that can sleep 2/3 of a person is a better idea, please let me know.

How has that Sierra a non-runner due to a slipped cam belt, but he's still managed to crash it?

Hi guys haven't a clue how to transfer ebay ads but did any one get a peep at the 1975 Aussie reg dyna in Chichester... with a v8 stuck in it .. if only I had a way of getting it home...

Don't shout at me, I'm on your side. Plus I'm stuck in rainy Belfast with a Chevrolet Spark for a hire car.

Ouch. Makes the rain quite pleasant in comparison, I guess.
