That has to be the most miserable, basic, depressingly beige thing ever. Quite like the interior though...

 

I'd assume these things rust like crazy given half a chance, can't remember the last time I saw one. My parent's neighbour had a very late one brand new which he covered in every possible optional extra, have to admit I always quite liked the styling of it. It got stolen out of his garage one night which seemed odd considering the number of considerably more desirable cars out on driveways nearby!

Bought the "top of the range" 1985 Pony 1.5GLS back in 1992 for the princely sum of £240 :mrgreen:

 

Was a pretty shitily built car it has to be said but it was reliable and got great MPG on a run (53!!!)

This was the one that was at the Pleasure Beach with fake battery cables coming out of the bonnet and going to a fake battery charger. Was a pile of shit back then. I'll find a photo of it and post it up.

Probably only a Holbay rocker cover as it has a single carb.

I had one of those rocker covers on my Alpine years ago

That Hunter is a strange one.

I've never seen a factory sunroof or a non GLS with overdrive. It's not a Holbay but it does have an alloy head.

 

I do remember my Dad's one did like to om nom nom headgaskets :D
