'ATTENSION BECAURES BECAURSE THE ONLY THING MISSING IS THE FRIDGE'

T'riffic. No problem, I'll still have it and I'll come down and collect it on the recovery truck I've just bought that hasn't got a back on it, or possibly tow it behind my burger van that hasn't got a cooker or grille.

I've put it on my watched items, it'll make a great camper conversion!

Actually the garden centre next to me wanted one as a display thing as they are doing alot of Italian ice creams in their new coffee shop and asked me to keep an eye out for a seriously cheap ice cream van. It doesn't have to be roadworthy just half tidy and what better than an Italian ice cream van...so thanks for posting that up! :D

the Onion seller gets bonus points for not claiming that the number plate is worth a million pounds as it's ideally suitable for somebody called Al Ifah, or indeed Allah.

I've just this minute logged into eBay to check for you Trig, I had no problems.

Me too, I gave up and changed my password and all seems fine now

Thanks! It's working again for me now, I spend the last 5 mins trying to get in, it even booted me off my phone app, I had a problem with ebay during the week after a PlayStation i bought and paid cash for wasn't marked as paid by the seller so ebay locked my account, i thought it had happened again.

Anyway back on topic, have a £295 Visa GTi!

Low miles, no tax and 12 months MOT. £250

I went and had a look at this today. Interior is immaculate and the body is good too (only a few spots of rust). The main concern though is the temp gauge doesn't work and the fans didn't cut in whilst I left it idling after a short run. I'm still tempted to have a punt though if I can get it cheap, be rude not too :D

Aren't dead electric fans quite common on those? I remember FATHA_RML's R25 suffering from them. As was the R25 at the dealer when he traded it for a Carlton.

I really hope that two-tone Escort stays just the way it is, it's been a long time since I've seen a Mk2 I actually wanted to pay £1500 for.

Grandpa Cobblers bought one and it copped for the same thing, I remember it going up in steam stuck in traffic on Eccelsall Road on the way back from buying it when I was about 10. Didn't see it again for about 3 months after it went into the garage and was declared "a bloody deathtrap" cos some idiot had rewired half of it with twin and earth. This was apparently unrelated to the cooling fan problem

Slightly steep Bluebird turbo, has A-pillar clocks so sadly will have been owned by a 17 year old at some point.

What's he taking the photo with? A netbook??

Beat me to it with that 245 - I was just about to post a link to it myself

Incidentally, both The Volvo and TV2 were bought from Peter Simpson using the eBay method - nice guy 8)

I like Peter Simpson, I want him to be my Dad.

Don't like the rot hole in the roof though!

I know I've just ppsted this on another thread, but for those that haven't seen it: what the hell is this well-fit* body-kitted French-registered LHD Triumph Acclaim doing only 60 miles from Calais...

That reminds me of the one at POL. Now that one was unbelievable!
