The heater should be mounted with the central hinge vertical so that the flow can be directed to either or both sides of the footwell. Rear seat passengers will need tartan car rugs.

I was a passenger in one in Italy in the early sixties as a young lad. I can still remember being most impressed with the dashboard and its switches.
