1300 V4??   Is that really possible?  Thought the 13s were the kent crossflows and the V4s were 2.0 or 1.7s?  Prepared to be educated…..

The MK1 Transit was available with the 1300 V4 in Italy & possibly one or two other European countries. That must have been fun* to drive with a full load...

Wish I could put £4k in the bank (if that seeing as best offer) and not even one month later it miraculously become £6k without doing anything

Let's see what else they've got...

I hope someone saves it and keeps it as is.  My childhood right there in that picture

I bet he never told his wife. “You bought what!!!?”

I wonder how that compared with the 1300 Kent engine in smaller Fords of the era.

Not much init , it wasn't used in escort, 950 ohv was & 1100 ohv was in some mk2-3 cortinas. The 1.7 V4 cologne was in some MK1 Granada too.

It's the same guy that has a reputation on here for doing it, Deano or daymo something like that, gets called out on it then comes up with some excuse like "it was too much of a project"

I'm all for people making a living but

1. Don't take advantage of the people offering you a club discount

And 2.  Don't lie about your intentions, it's just scummy

Over on the Renault forum, a 1 owner 2007 Renault Megane Extreme (only 66k) needs a new engine or repair after the cam belt broke, just £180. Way too good to be scrapped by the sounds of it. Located in Oxfordshire. The owner is devastated and wants it to go to a good home.
