Nice bikes, mate had one back in the day. 3k is steep for no mot, needs work and non standard colour though. Not as rare as he seems to think

The L really was quite fancy compared to the base model. 

Head rests, a radio, a body coloured grill and wheel trims.  

In 1983, it was probably possible to do a deal on a beige one from a dealer and end up with a new one for £5650.  (My dad paid £5k for a truely base estate, in beige with delivery miles)

So if this were being sold by the first owner it's the ultimate in low depreciation.  I'd like to say "what a lovely thing" but I hated beige sierras then and nothing has changed.
