That is fantastic.  Stick-on HRW applied completely on the piss and aftermarket rear wiper with a modern aero blade.  Top giffering.

Making a Vitesse estate is not as easy as it looks though it has been done several times. The front chassis is longer to take the straight six so the easiest way is to start off with a Vitesse chassis and put a Herald estate body on it, whilst keeping the Vitesse bonnet obviously. So you do realistically need two cars to make the one. Was a lot easier (by which I mean cheaper) when you could pick them up for £50 each. I guess if you were careful you could put the Vitesse body  back on the Herald and sell it on to get some of your money back.

I don't know why Triumph never officially made a Vitesse estate, it sounds like a perfect small car.

might be worth dropping the seller a line, see if he will post to you being such a big Yugo fan.  If not I'd be happy to have it sent to me then forwarded to you but guess it would be cheaper to see if he will send directly

Thanks man! Message sent, hopefully guy wants to faff with a random dude off Facebook from half way across the Europe. 🤞

As usual, I fully expect him to tell me to fuck off as it’s too much hassle to post internationally, especially post-Brexit.

Always thought these, like the Suzuki SB200, were the answer to the question that nobody ever asked. Weren't they a single carb RD200 engine?

Yes they were, perfect as commuter though, a perfect step up from an rxs100 or yb100

Just to make it even more hateful, it's got that shit arsed diesel engine

'It is a great car for anyone looking for a classic with a touch of style'

It's an even greater one for someone who lives at the top of the biggest fucking cliff in Britain and who also owns a bulldozer.
