Surely @maxxo is only months away from one of these?

This one is expensive, because they've somehow managed to surpress the warning lights from the dash. £4600 Sutton Coldfield

Is it like what they say about Land Rovers - if it’s not leaking oil then there’s no oil in it.

There’s no warning lights on so there’s probably a massive dashboard fault, probably taking several ECUs out 😀

Utterly would (if I had the £)

Love these.

Then you could bore everyone by telling that it’s really a Merc underneath. I think Clarkson got it right, it looks like a dog having a shit.

I really like the look of these but it is the Mercedes-ness underneath that puts me off.  Do I really want to own a car with yaw sensors and steering-angle sensors, that puts the brakes on if it thinks I need protecting from myself?
No way!

Would be so much more appealing with a live rear axle and a pushrod Chrysler engine.

Something more like this. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/3232651943718294

£250... Hugely tempting for my Maestro but I believe the talky bits require a different loom, although the instruments should slot in. Looks like there's a gearbox speed sensor in the listing.

The same seller has also got this.

A 1.3 Maestro with Digi dash. There was one discussed earlier in this thread But I could not find it to confirm if it is the same one. This one is to be broken for parts.

I drove one of those in 1992, probably 4 years old, it used a litre of oil a day just driving it round Northampton picking up parcels, the sump probably didn't hold enough oil to drive it on the motorway
