HOW MUCH !!!!!

Seems the norm for these now. Local dealer to us has sold two Mk5s for around the £15k mark in the last year and has one now for £9k. My rarer Mk4 doesn’t seem to be achieving similar successes price wise.

This is diesel, manual and pov spec, but it's beautiful!

body work needs some attention. This includes ... areas around rear suspension mounting components, seat belt anchorage points.

oh no. How is it ever going to get an MOT?

Quote

No MOT, however, car will gain classic car rights in 2024 and so be MoT and road tax exempt.

That's how!

autobox (is that still a three speed in these?)...

Yes, the same VW/ Audi device as you would find in a Passat or Audi.

It's probably stuck open on 'Crossing the Red Sea' for when the footwells fill with water and the electrics go tits up. Or just for praying that CarTakeBack's offer is still on the table.

There aren't enough 'likes' in the world for that car. Even if the radio does have wind up windows.

Away in some danger

a clock by your head

Oh my sodding Jesus

it looks like a shed

Picture 8 of 11

The light on the back door

look down where he lay

The chequer plate guillotine

and tow point for AA

Picture 3 of 11

The dashboard is glowing

the engine won't awake

and when you slam the back door

there's myriad rust flake

Picture 1 of 11

I hate you, Iveco

I'll sleep under sky

and stay by your side

until HIAB is nigh

Picture 4 of 11

Please find me AA man

I've noted in blue

the map references

where I've waited for you

Picture 5 of 11

My wife took my children

they all live in care

There's less fucking stigma

than camping in there

Why oh why oh why did people stick stupid glass pop tops to cars, especially when they are from a much earlier era.

1981 Ford Cortina 1.6GL "registered as a historic vehicle so no tax or mot required"

I can remember when these were new, suddenly I feel very old historic.

My dad had a two-tone green Carousel with auto box. It was a company car. He liked it so much he brought it when it was replaced. I thought it drove like a bag of shite compared to the Alfa Giulietta I had in 1985.

This has popped up again; "Re advertised due to some absolute melt reporting that I was selling a police car.  THIS IS CLEARLY NOT A POLICE CAR…….This fantastic old girl was used for a charity rally, “the screwball rally” Google it.  She was used to raise money and awareness for the need for Emergency Bleed control kits."
