Going to say my old 110bhp b5 Passat had a fettle on the set up and easily kept up with a 3.0 tdi A5. They go well anyway but mapped up are pretty mental even by current standards. A lot better on fuel as well, but my Passat was the roughest car I've ever owned, inside and out yet mechanically exceptional. From 2012 to 2017, based on the mileage increments it looks like it's only journeys were to and from the MOT station Before then it looks like it only did a few hundred a year after getting about 25k in its first few years I'd say it must have been garaged most of its life. It was similar to this. I seem to remember it having some sort of magic seat belt arrangement that electrically drew back the shoulder belt along the roof line.
