Great until you need an exhaust, or any part of the 4x4 system, I believe.

That Carina E sounds like a nail underneath going by the past fails on the test, it’s probably no small coincidence the test runs out in 3 weeks, he’ll have been told last year it’s in the dire straights.

Wonder what is going on with the duplicate set of kentekenplaten? I thought you could only get a duplicate set  made if one or both  were stolen. Then you get a duplicate code added to the copy. These are not on the car.

That will be the old original pre-GAIK license plates (without the blue EU bit), seen here when it took part in an Autoweek retro test:

Still should not have copies of the plates. The Blue band is obligatory on a car of this age is it?

The blue bit is part of the GAIK plates (which are obligatory since iirc 2002 on all cars with yellow plates) but back then handing over the old plates wasn't something that was very strictly enforced. It isn't uncommon to have an old car with a current and old set of plates. Of course, you're officially not allowed to drive around with the old style plates...

Spoiler

...  but if you do, the police can't be arsed. Don't ask how I know.😉

You win at forum.

Irish import or fun project? Car based vans seems popular over there.

It's apparently an Irish car that was imported several years ago, and then had an Mi16 engine plonked in. With that combo it'd go like the clappers.
