I started doing just that. I knew of the Santana, though not for that long. I saw one out on delivery about five years ago and it confused me. It was parked so I could get a good look but that just confused me more so I had to Google it.

But googling them again tonight led me to this which is completely new to me.

I give you the Iveco Massif.

That is the model after the Santana Anibal (PS10). both used Ivevo engines and gearboxes. Giugiaro  are associated with this design.

If anyone in The UK wants a Santana Anibal without the hassle of importation then this RHD example may be for you. £9000- 50,000  miles- 2006.

This is a handsome bastard of a car.  No v6 but it's still managed to rack up and extensive shit ton of work in the last few years

"Car has recently had the timing belt, balance belt, auxiliary belt and all associated tensioners replaced. Waterpump, thermostat, temp sender, etc all replaced too. Cylinder head was also refurbished & skimmed and the head gasket replaced, along with all other gaskets (exhaust & inlet manifolds) and new genuine Alfa head bolts.

Clutch was replaced 2020 at 84k and the DMF was replaced in 2018 at 76k miles."

It's also had a gearbox.

Needy bastard! I thought our 159 was bad but you'd need George Soros' bank balance to keep on top of this.

Cheap Lexus GS300, 113,000 miles, MOT to July, €750. Looks good for the money

Get a cheap flight to Alicante, and you have 90 days to drive it back to the UK via whatever route you want @hairnet

Great opportunity for anyone planning a Spain trip in the next few weeks. A rental for a week would be more than the asking price.

When I advertised the tatty Avensis I drove here in August 2020 for €650, I must have had 30 calls on an hour.

I think that the "back to England" car bubble has burst.

Its only 40 minutes from Alicante airport at most.

Pre-facelift was much more nicerer in my opinion. I haven't seen one for ages.

No I never that I said this.

The 2006 date is incorrect. I cant see the Farcebook advert but I can see the Gumtree one. The advertiser is not correct in suggestion it is a Landie 110. There are many differences.

I haven't seen any suggestion that it's a Land Rover - I've only seen it claimed to be a Santana PS-10 and it is one.

I think there has been a misunderstanding here somewhere

you are 100% correct in that assumption. But it never came from me.

Love how the rear edge of the LH door shows signs of forced entry, despite the fact it’s a suicide door.

In the seller's description it mentions the crease as being from the door folding back on itself when caught by the wind. At least it won't rust...
