Imagine putting that into your local BMW dealer for a routine* service....

I went to the golf yesterday. If you had a BMW (or Mini or RR) you got to park in a special car park for free.

I wonder if this would have qualified?

No BMW Chod unfortunately (I was really hoping that someone would rock up in a badly beaten 1994 316 compact)

I can already see some typical 480 issues with this (idling a bit low, infocentre not working or very dark, the obvious rusty wheel arches) and that sunroof is usually something I'd recommend to avoid as they are often just another cause of water leaks.  Brilliant cars though...

Yes all that really looks salvageable are the rear lights and the interior, that one looks like trouble

Fuck me, that's been in the wars a bit. But a C3 100CS 5-pot was a cut above the other C3 100s. The only things better than that were the 200 / 200 Quattros. And if by "factory wheels in the boot", the seller means these:

the original Fuchs alloys, then the wheels alone are worth having - they also look well on the B2 Ur-Quattros.

Pity it's in Gainsborough, otherwise I'd be tempted to go and have a look.... This looks like a job for @Spurious

Oh god don't tempt me. In the comments he's a bit arsey about what the reserve is, wonder what he wants for it (probably too much).

I'm seeing the value creep up in these now. They were sub 2k cars in good nick at one point but like everything recently, everything's on the up.

But those alloys are delightful.  5 bolt too. Wonderful.

When I get a garage (soon) I'll be on the look out for a 4x100 version of these.

There weren't many CSs sold here (I only ever saw one when they were available new), and they were the only ones to get the all-red shaded tail light lenses.

Like the 200s, they also had 5-bolt hubs.

It's a bit crinkled, but otherwise this £1000 205 TD looks absolutely GR12 I reckon. Got the nice wheels, big sliding glass sunroof, presumably quite a plush interior (no pics sadly)

I haven't looked up the MoT history or owt, and it doesn't have a test at the mo but I dunno, it just gives me a really good 'vibe' for some reason. Reckon you could just drive it home and it would work forever with zero upkeep for the rest of time. Looks so cool too!
