I love that!  I had a blue 2000E at the end of 1982.  Gorgeous car.  I think it's safe to assume this one will need a heap of welding though.

Got any photos? The Corsair 2000E seems like a forgotten example of Ford's Executive series from the late 60's/early 70's, the most familiar ones being the Cortina 1600E and the Escort 1300E.

There's one poor photo of it in my Life of Shite thread.  You're right, it is very much a forgotten model.  Shame, because even the cheap old shed I had was lovely to drive.  I absolutely would have a go at that red one if I  any money.
