I've been after one of these for a long while now.  Late 90s when they were anything but cool I used to drive past one on my paper round every day.  When the MK4 came along they still looked good, and I was really pissed when a MK4 estate came up on here Summer 2019 and sold to someone who promptly fucked off and never came back.  

In all seriousness, would anyone be up for a four way split on this?  Timing is shit for me, but Saffron Walden is 30 minutes away.

My uncle had one of those when I was wee. 

My only proper memory of it was that whilst driving to the shops and me in the back,  he threw the keys into my lap and asked them hold them for him. Took longer than it should to figure out that the keys were out of the ignition much to my amazement. 

(presumably the ignition barrel was fooked)

I was going to bid on that Clio but I got sidetracked sorting out someone else's fuckup at work (all I seem to do these days) and missed the end of the auction.  :roll:

That Riley Kestrel is absolutely ace. It seems to have the correct amount of keys BL cars of that era needs too, i.e the usual 257 so it took you 4 months just to open the driver's door.

Love the colour and love the wheels, so much nicer than the full size trims some of them come with (they seem to be random across the range) but I don't need a diesel. I don't mean to come across all flash but I can afford to run a 1.3mpi, hell I can even afford to run a 1.6. I'm starting to think, now we have a large dog, if I was going to replace ours it ought to be an estate but even then, not yet as ours has just sailed through its MOT.

Well that would make the Favorit seem more refined than it is. My old bus was quieter than that.
