I've seen that blingy 300SE at classic shows - you'd have to be pretty brave to be seen in it, but there's no doubting it's been fanatically cared for, and will be a superb car under all the crap!

They're awful names.

Princess was formerly on a classified at £3495.  'Tis supa-clean though.

I like this.  I like this a lot.  The usually bland styling is lifted by the sporty trim, the colour's spot-on and it's the hatch version.  Plus it'll run forever and ever.  Perfect.

Not sure about the RS bodykit but it is (allegedly) original so can't hold that against it.

I don't know what's going on here with the on-and-off red stripes and the incredibly vague description doesn't help.  I can only think that Lenin would not have approved.

I'm having impure thoughts about this XJS over on RR. It's solid and cheap, which is a rare combination for one of these. I just can't quite figure out where I'd put it. Once I sell the saab I'd still be too short of space. I need to get a yard or a field or something.

auto URGH

and the most expensive bit of the whole car is those headlights

are they included in the sale price?

The only downside to those Hondas is they're furiously thirsty. The Civics seem to be the same that 1.5 v-tec I took to Spain last year was bloody awful on petrol.

The lights and bumpers aren't included. I was just going to do an MG and fit Fiat Punto headlamps.

xjs's are very hard to sell, but easy to sell the headlights, bumpers and wheels from

Yes, that's true.  My 2.0 CR-V was extremely thirsty, main reason I got rid of it really, that said, modern Peugeot ownership taught me that 20mpg is a lot cheaper than paying through the arse for constant repairs!  Unfortunately, the vtec might be a superb engine but allegedly it doesn't like LPG conversions at all.

I may be getting confused, but didn't VolksAngyl say something fairly recently about wanting a Jag in that colour?

Posted

On that Lada, the 'stripes' look like sticky tape to me.

@Wilko: almost, I want a Golf in that Jag colour.  I can see how you'd be confused.  I also want a Jag in that colour, that car looks like a giant penis and it makes me lol.
