Back in the day the 1.1 was actually a rather nimble little machine.  I certainly enjoyed driving them.

I'd like to have a low spec Ford one day, ideal uni-student car I would imagine too. My dad talks about how popular Fiat 126s and Reliant Robins were with his University colleagues back in the early 80's, however he recalls a mate of his having a 3.0 MK2 Capri Ghia during uni! I guess most MK1/Mk2 Fiestas are being converted into XR2/Supersport replicas, so it's unlikely I'll grab a poverty-spec one.

From behind, that GSM Flamingo looks like a fat girl's arse in a fluorescent bikini.

Meanwhile, here's the best photograph on the listing for this...

'Clutch ceased'

Unfortunately, it doesn't state what it ceased being.

I wouldn’t mind this tbh

I've had two of those Scimitars, they were so nearly there, very much an if only a bit more investment in finishing off and marketing styling.

Aren't they pound land copies of corsa b "swing" trims?

Yeah I thought they looked Vauxhall esque...

A V6 diesel C6, with no MOT, being sold by Sterling Cars.  WCPGW?

(Actually probably still worth a punt at the current bid, even if it does turn out to be fucked.)

Ended at £585 (reserve not met), which in the current circumstances I thought was quite high for a Maestro off the road since 2010 and requiring recommissioning and cosmetics at the very least.  Makes me think I might get what I want for mine (£750 to a shiter, higher elsewhere) when this is all over.  MOT'd, solid, nice interior (albeit not the early dash).  I appreciate it's the wrong thread but have a photo anyway.

That's priced too high.

Especially as I think the horses would struggle to get up that step. ;)

There might be room for negotiation ?

Whoever put that seat on the Mobylette needs to have it shoved sideways up their council.

I can remember the Car I had at Uni, B728KCH a mk2 fiesta 1.3 L in maroon, I fitted a set of 40 mm lowering springs, cut and welded the pan hard rod so the rear beam was not off set to one side and ran a set of Uber desirable 6x13 RS 7 spokes, I also added a Ashley 4-2-1 from a XR2 and a K&N filter, it sounded insane and would top out at about 110 but nothing would keep up with me on the twisted!!!

loved that Car but it totted itself to pieces in the end.
