I'd love one of those, but bugger driving it from Motherwell to Norfolk ?

I have a cunning plan..

I'll buy a 388mile long extension lead

80 miles range is a bit poor. Not a bad looking car,  though.

More like 50-60 at this time of year apparently....

That's totally friggin useless innit. What a heap of shit. Also a terrible waste of energy and resources to build something so utterly hopeless as a means of getting about.

Could stick an alternative power plant in it, maybe?

It would be ok for me to get to work, but going to my parents in wales would be quicker to cycle there and back, as it would take a least six charge cycles, at 6hours a pop, plus the 8 hours driving time. Useless.

Only upside is I assume because the battery is leased, they should replace it for you when it reaches a certain level of charge.

There was one motorway trip during winter where I just did 'normal' motorway speeds ('sharp' 70mph something), plus heating, plus air con and it delivered 45miles total range. Renault is pretty honest with its advertising and stated 86 summer miles for the Fluence, and 56 miles in winter. For medium-footed persons, this is quite a reasonable estimate.

I bet that a shiter on here will own one soon - if they are city based...

This Nissan Cherry Europe identifies as an Alfa Arna, but their reassignment programme hasn’t reached the boot badges yet.

£9k seems a touch* optimistic.  But wait:

WE ARE GOING TO TRY REDUCING THE CAR BY £250 EVERY FEW DAYS UNTIL SOMEONE BUYS IT !!!!!

See you in a few months then.

Crikey, that’s a lot of beige even for me.  Bet the original owner was completely camouflaged in there, too.
