I've seen this super clean E36 in Whitley Bay on the side of the road a few months ago and was amazed how good it still looked. Its now up for sale for £1100 and might be a great chance to pick up an excellent example of an otherwise usually run into the ground car:

A great big pile of steaming shit. And some manure.

'Mk4 Escort'

It's got cam belt damage and the starting price of 99p is about 97p more than it's worth without cam belt damage. This 'Mk' of Escort (especially the diesels) have to be in the top ten most hateful cars ever built.

(Edit: obvs it's not a Mk4)

Giffer-owned DW8-powered Corolla for £399 BIN

Just needs a fuse for the central locking, air-con regas M8, new glow-plugs and a radio head unit from a scrapper. Maybe a speed sensor. Sounds like an ideal little project that.

It is two miles from mine. I can drive anyone who wants it there in an identical W reg, silver Corolla with matching interior.

Details sketchy atm but please bear with.

My father is an estate agent and has instructions on a probate sale in Suffolk. There’s a Citröen Synergie in the garage which is, apparently, in very good shape.

He mentioned it to me as he knows I love a cheap car and this is.

The daughter would be happy with anything really. I suggest a nice donation to the family’s charity of choice would have it on your driveway.

All I know atm is it’s a blue/green - a diesel - and about 90k on it.

I’ll update the post with pics once he gets things moving at his end.

This was a lovely little bus. Turns out it’s an XUD, 1999, 91k on the dials, service history is all there and a full compliment of keys. Daughter told me that her father bought it when he retired at 2 years old (the van, not him - that’d be ridiculous)

More worrying is my fathers eyesight. It’s definitely green, not blue!

It’s also sold. Nobody on here sadly, but someone from Facebook has given them £400 for Dementia UK so everyone’s happy.

It was nice to help. I maybe should have bought it myself but I seem to be wedded to this bloody Granvia!

To his/her credit, it's pretty much impossible to make a Focus look worse than they do standard.

Alfasud Sprint?

If the interior's that bad, I dread to think what the rest of it's like......

That's the only bit that's not made of weetabix.
