could* be an easy fix. or not. (i bet it won't be, cos its a Jaguar)

 

i had one, it was fab, but SO SO fuckin' needy. there was alway some damn thing wrong with it.

I seem to recall he wanted well over a grand for this. Given that I bought one with MOT, and just about derivable for £700 just before Chistmas, this is worth about £500 scrap I'm afraid. The seller is also being pretty dishonest and not telling the public that is has been written off. This was offered to me as a PX when I was selling my red XJR6. I bet I could get it running though. Owner did his best to try and make me diagnose it for him. :P

Had a 200 bubble with the 8 valve, 1400 K. Felt strong enough in the bigger car, should be quite brisk in a metro. That seems to be an unmolested bargain in that condition.
