^ Isn't someone on here looking for a big Volvo? That one looks a bit council estate lite.

Is that right? I've never heard of a 1.4 405 before, not in this country anyway

I'd love a 1.4 estate, but I don't think they made one.

In other news, eBay has been without a live listing for this for one whole month:

This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available.
Looks like ChickenChoker has finally given up on the job.

Another hopeless crock:

Precisely 0.42% chance of future road legality.

Turbo an'all. What a shame.

That looks like it was proper smart before this dolphin gobbler got his tin opener on it.

Can't be common. 1.4 BXs are ten a penny by comparison. We need to find a 1.4 Cavalier Mk3 for a side-by-side Power Test.

I smiled when I realised that Casio F91W blu-tac'd to the dash is genuinely the most technologically advanced part of the car.

Yeah, this got asked in another thread - I know because the Wiki page for the Peugeot 405 is in my history :)

They were sold briefly in this country as 1.4 Style and GL between '92 and '94 apparently but aren't common, mainly because you'd need your head examined. Mind you, they must be lighter than a Mk3 Cav which also came in 1.4 flavour if you were stingy enough to go for an L or a "base".

Pizza turbo, only 15k miles.

I can't see that Piazza hanging around long even though it's an auto .... I still would, it looks gorgeous.

Wasn't the BX available with the 1124cc engine in the early days? I'm sure I saw one for sale in France a few years back.

The 1.4 405 appeared when they did the facelift. I don't think they sold many here. Official performance figures were something like 100 flat out and 60 in 14.5 seconds, so slower than a 1.4 Cav.

Yup. Europe got a super-miserable BX11. Apparently, they tried selling a BX10 in Holland, but I've never seen so much as a picture of one. Imagine that!

That Piazza is SUPA HOT, I would like to hide in a cupboard and watch it for hours (or even days) without it knowing

bx10 sounds intruiging

Blimey that BX10 Dommage sounds properly miserable, can't even find a pic of one.

Usually when someone says "Mint interior" they mean it's in nice nick......

'Dommage' is the french word for 'shame', was someone at Citroen having a laugh?

GLT was the "sporty" model I seem to remember. This looks nice, with a chunk of tax, no mention of test - £395, but needs a clutch.
