I've only just twigged - the seller of that lovely blue BX must have had so much interest, they decided they were sat on a gold mine - now listed at more than double the original asking price!

Suspect they'll now end up stuck with it for a while - like the dealer that's still asking 2 grand for that over-priced R11

Hmmm, I remember selling that^ deffo wasn't a 1.2 though. I think he was a self employed sparky from Dundee.

This auction is for a car that was bought and made up to look like the ghostbusters car, it was used to raise money for Birmingham Childrens Hospital and was driven from Birmingham to Aberystwyth with no problems

 

123 miles, fucking WOW! that must have taken all of 3 hours! including stopping for a cup of tea.

THE PREVIOUS OWNER TOOK IT OF THE ROAD TO REPLACE THE N/S CILL THAT WAS NOT EVEN THAT BAD, ONLY A SMALL HOLE BUT HE NEVER FINISHED IT. THE N/S CILL HAS BEEN CUT OFF BUT A NEW ONE COMES WITH THE CAR

 

HE ALSO PUT IT IN PRIMER WHICH IS A SHAME AS THE ORIGINAL GOLD PAINT WAS GOOD

 

Brilliant, a cortina thats sat for years with one sill chopped off and half-arsed shitty primer paint job carried out by a leper
