so you have been a "good" party member, paid your Reich Marks, no doudt paid more again in bribes to greese the wheels of beurocracy, and then waited the 12 years for delivery.......(all the time hoping that you don't get picked up by the Stasi for saying something against the dear leader, or the party(other trumped up charges were available).)

I'd suggest fixing the brakes before driving it too far though.

Shirley it wouldn't go fast enough to need them.

I would like to see a world in which people made Ferrari testarossas into tr7 replicas.

Somewhere... in a parallel universe :)

To be honest the best thing to do to an Estafette is turn it into a mobile coffee shop as they are horrible slow things to drive. The best I managed was about 5 miles before giving up. The driving position is nearly as bad as the willys jeep.

Billy fucking Britain is selling his Mini

'I have been advised that thieves are casing my area and have taken a particular interest in the Mini...'

...so you've helpfully* just advertised it on a national auction site right outside your house so every fucker else can find it?

'I would rather sell at a loss than some foreigners steal it.'

If it does get TWOC'D I'll piss myself if it was someone from the BNP.

Funny you should say that...our local hipster streetfood peddlers were unloading their motley vans this morning when I was in the market about 9.00am. I can tell you seeing the state of the kit and the insides of the vans it would be more hygenic to lick the pavement then buy their 'goodies'.

God help anyone daft enough to pay a third of the asking price for this, never sodding mind £25,000. It's actually mind boggling where people get their prices from.

my, my, an unfucked up beetle......

but as its the "super beetle" with strut suspension that nearly drive in an acceptable manner, its then hated by the dubber-pineappling-hipster-twerp-dickheads.

its not my kinda thing, but its a nice looking car.

I wonder if that's another Irish special. There were quite a few car-based vans only sold in Ireland for some tax-related reason. Peugeot did a 306 van!

I'd love a 306 van, or to convert a white three door hatch into one, then whang a tweeked up 2.1 turbo diesel engine in it. There was a thing with Ireland and commercial vehicles, they also got the BX van.

The Golf van is a UK model but it's quite rare.

In the ROI you'd pay nearly €700 to tax a 1.9 litre car but a van or goods vehicle is about €300 regardless of engine capacity
