'THIS DOLOMITE IS 1 OF ONLY 10 DOLOMITE SE's LEFT IN THE UK,'

This Dolomite is 1/10th of one of only ten Dolomite SE's left in the uk.

Probably in better nick than Capt 70’s...

....

I don’t condone hitting people in the face with a hammer... but I need a hammer, and to whack this twat in the face. Firstly who jet washes a car with the roof down? And the VOLKSWAGEN makes no bastard sense.

What's the difference between those two hearses and that fucking Beetle?

I'd be prepared to be seen dead in two of them.....

Sweet li'l Renner with a suitcase. Weren't these called 'la poire' in France due to the way they rotted?

They were called la poire (the pear) due to the shape, but it backfired somewhat by their ability to rust.

Why yes my good fellow, with surprisingly nice results.[/yquote]

Was it the Herald- derived gearbox carrying all this torquey goodness to that spindly old axle? Now I understand one carby. Naturally I'd dearly like to own such a car but we were deprived in this hemisphere.

"The Australian Marinas ... used high levels of local content, including different running gear, axle, interiors, seals, seats, uprated dampers and mounts, uprated wheels and a higher grade of fit and finish. The Marina Six used a separate front sub-frame to support the weight of the Big Red engine and different front torsion bars as well as a pair of rear radius arms in an attempt to improve handling. Base model featured a 3-speed manual gearbox – sourced locally from Borg-Warner – to meet local content requirements. The Borg-Warner automatic was, however, the variation most popular in the local market." - Wikipedia
