Flippin LOL, how do they make these charity buses look so totally shite? They always have instructions and orders plastered on them as if some higher power feels the need to make it extra clear that the people inside cannot be trusted to manage a friggin minibus on their own.

Anyway didnt Angie Dobson used to run the pub in East enders? I hope she cleared it with Brian May before buying these lot a Renault Master.

I'm half tempted to buy a ford Fusion as a kind of experiment.

Truly wretched cars, because I hate them so much I would absolutely wring it's neck at all times, I bet it would be the most reliable transport imaginable just out of spite.

You'd have thought so, but they are actually full of constant issues at higher mileages, avoid!

Would have been better if they'd made it 6x6, but still 1000% better than most of the pickup conversions on the Bay.

Dirt cheap Smiley.  Only a couple of days' test left though and sounds like it could need a weldathon to get a new one.

Shit that is dreadful, it is possible that he will find some mug that thinks it is what they are supposed to look like though.

Why would you chop up an incredibly rare coupe to make an utterly minging horror like that?

True but I have no idea how easy (probably not very) it would be to replace the standard rear diff with one that converts it to a center diff and what that means for the axles. I really like this other one they have, it looks like a big quadbike to me. 20 flippin' grand though so why anyone would buy it over an RTV I don't know.

Can anyone shed any light on this Citroen Bijou rear end?

I've never seen one like it before and helpfully despite a 15k asking price the vendor doesn't mention it....

Just seen it's been posted a couple of pages ago,so presume it was a one off...

Possibly the early work of the designer who penned the first generation SsangYong Rodius?

Heuliez?

I wonder if this was a late conversion done to alleviate the difficulty in finding a spare rear windscreen. All the glass in a standard Bijou is apparently specific to the car, and is not shared with any other model.

It's the boot off a Dyane innit, its obviously been cobbled together by one of those 'wacky' Citroen owners who love letting people know how individual they are etc. Presumably it had a name like 'Bluebell' or summat and the guy has spent his life savings on that horrible re-trim. I do wonder if the dealer even knows it's not 'right'? Most crappy little dealers are pretty clueless about old cars in my experience.

Wait, are we even allowed to make fun of shit cars in the new, hand-wringing circle-of-love version of Autoshite or what?

They only ever made about 200 (211?) Bijous, all RHD for the British market. Allegedly an exercise in how not to build a fibreglass car.

Just a bit of Googling suggests that despite its innate shiteness, the Bijou is quite highly sought-after.
