Its had no colour change, its still silver!!

 

Explanation:

Upto around 2007, car colours by the DVLA was defined by the colour of the chassis. The Smart Roadster has a chassis with body panels attached, so you don't see most of the chassis. However the bit is visible is the c-pillar section and windscreen surround. There were two options, standard was black, cost-option was silver.

 

I believe Lotus Elises have the same thing on their colours.

Fair point! I knew it was a possible to swap panels to change the colour, but wasn't aware that the base colour was tied to the chassis.

Poorly Saab 9000 in Saabnut's neck of the woods.  Seems a tad overpriced given its condition, but then I can't make sense of car prices any more.

Is £2k seems a lot given it's got various corrosion issues though. Hopefully the seller is just flying a kite up there and will settle for less.

Salty but must be very rare now. I had the hatchback version (GT) a few years back, they weren't really massively different from other Sierras to be honest, but the blue oval and the 'GT' badge means they'll just rocket in value
