I don't think even triggers broom could sweep this up.

A friend of mine is leaving Mew Zealand shortly and is selling his car. He reckons it's a bargain, here it is if any of our Antipodean friends are interested...

Can't post faecesbook adverts at work, but Looks like Pete-M's old 604 has turned up on there in rather a sorry state. Shame as I seem to remember him throwing a huge amount of time and effort into it.

It's up on the Classic cars for sale / wanted UK page. for £600.

I'd still love one but OMGHGF and rampant corrosion seems to have affected this one :(

As far as I understand from reading the available info, it seems the only way for the 604 was going to be ever downwards once it left Pete-M's dedicated hands. Such a waste in the end.

I think Boll had the last ever pair of NOS sills so that could be a stumbling block to any resto.

Surely most things on a Maserati BiTurbo are stumbling blocks?

I saw and sat in it only a couple of years ago, when it was at the photoshoot for Classic & Sports Car with my old Alfa 6.  Was good order then.  DieselnutJob brought along his brown 604 too.

Peugeot 604 sti
£600
Oxford, Oxfordshire

Please read everything:
I'm selling my Peugeot, as I just don't have the time for a project this big. Has rot in the roof, a pillars and inner wings, old accident damage to the front resulting in more rot (inner wing o/s)
Floors, sills and about 1/2 of the o/s rear 3/4 panel was rebuilt about 5 years ago in the care of a previous owner.
Engine has a blown head gasket so is not a runner.
Does have a complete interior that's in good condition for a Peugeot of this age.
All electrics were working when parked up 3 years ago.
All glass, brightwork, trim, switches, badging and lights are present and intact.
A very rare car and an excellent source of hard to find interior parts.
body panels are mostly salvageable, passenger wing has rotted through by the a pillar, but that's an easy repair if you know your way around a mig.

Engine ancilliaries are removed and have Benn placed in the boot, that was done by me about 4 months ago.

Once the roof goes, that tends to be a killer for me. Where do you find another roof skin now?
