I hope that this is ok to stick here. Whilst looking through Facebook I came across this.

Seems a nice enough car even though the pictures are not brilliant.

^ That looks super value, plus it's early enough so the seats won't be trimmed with wetsuits.

Edit, just checked HPI, same owner since 2009! 3 in total. BARGAIN

Slightly* monged Bluebird on Gumtree, just up the road from me.

There may still be hope for the current owner, though:

needs new shocks and springs all round cause the coilies that are in now just make it too low and the ride is uncomfortable.

Sounds like he'll be needing physiotherapy soon.

...£295. Two hundred and ninety five fucking quid, for an old garden gate with a pallet nailed to the top.

To be fair, it does have four wheels. That's two more than I usually see on a trailer!

Does anyone else sort of cross their fingers when they see stuff on here and pray it's hundreds of miles away in case they end up buying it?

Yes, especially if it's near Chester

'This was converted by a body shop in Swindon'

I wonder if that's why it's very rare then?

Kudos for an interior that looks like a tart's knicker drawer though.

420gsi. Is that ride height normal?

Owner probably more used to Citroëns.

^^ Quote from the ad for the yellow BMW pick-up pictured above which Cavcraft posted,

"It also has an automatic gearbox in the usual place and a seperate manual gearbox mounted just before the the diff so that the gear ratios can be change easily.

The engine is a 2 litre straight 6".

What ?????

Interesting and imaginative and I would like to see it working, but I can't get my head round it. How would you drive it?

Will have to think about that one again after my head-cold has cleared, my brain's all blurry and "says no" when asked to do anything.
