My bro (non car type) has just sprung this on me as a potential purchase. I know sod all about them other than this was a shitter in 2006-2009 and has a scooby lump now. It was also a van I think. Is it any good? Opinions...

My god that's nice! The early Turbo diesels seem a tad more spritely too.

 

Sadly I've bought another XUD TD to replace my Clio so I can't. But if one of you gets it, DIBS!

 

Also I'm local so if anyone wants me to check it out I may be able to.

Tragically dull way to blow £15,000.

One day soon these will be worthless once more when the fashionistas move their gaze elsewhere. There will always be a few hardcore Volkswagen lovers, but they will want originality.

 

So, a really bad buy.

Lovely! A slightly off-colour rear door and hindquarter, but hey, nothing wrong with that... they are great cars & worth having all day long. Nice and now rare colour, alloy wheels, low mileage. Needs to be bought by someone here and brought into the fold! :-)
