I once had one of these. They drive like an old four-poster bed. Mine was £30 in 1980. Description says it was called the gay car. Not correct - the two-tone was called the Gay Look by Rootes. Inconsequential additional fact I once saw a Standard 8 for sale with the reg PUF 69. Number still exists I see on the DVLA website... but not the Standard.

Top spec K11 Chesterfield £250- Mot till August not April as advertised

 

I nearly bought this very car last year in Nottm for £400 but ended up with the Streetwise - seems its ended up being PEXed, still with stupidly low mileage, but now with added idle issues.

 

Good MoT history and well worth a gamble, just not for me right now. There were some minor rusting to the pass door I think, but underneath was solid.
