I was the underbidder on that Ami when it 'sold' last week for £471... I know he wants £1200 for it, but it's a €500 car

A mate had that and we cruised, or should I say belted around, Harpenden a few times 

 

I often wondered what happened to it, ten years back it went into a 'trusted' Heathrow workshop for service work and never left.  The ensuing (protracted) arguments meant the workshop won and kept the car in lieu of 'storage costs'.  It was a nice car, can't forget that SOG plate or the howl of the engine.before they broke it.  He only had the car a couple of months, so always had a sour taste of being stung for £8k on it.

That's ace. Especially the transparent bonnet. Remove the stupid non-connected side pipes and I'd drive it (as long as it wasn't raining, while wearing a bag on my head).
